Job Description
The Gymnastics Captain will provide leadership and direction to a team of Gymnastic professionals, to deliver exceptional service to our customers, helping them to set and achieve their personal gymnastic goals. They will ensure the Gymnastic areas are maintained and presented in the highest possible manner to our customers. They will ensure the Gymnastic team assist to maximise the gymnasts experience and development, whilst at the same time, providing a motivating and exciting environment for people to achieve their goals.
This position will work relentlessly to implement the Aligned Leisure purpose of connecting to thrive and win, values of AWARE, DISCIPLINED, RELENTLESS and UNITED, and associated behaviours throughout the entire team. The Gymnastics Captain is a critical customer facing role and as such, will be required to work shifts that are in line with busy program periods.
Key responsibilities:
Gymnastics program leadership. Assisting in the development and implementation of a comprehensive gymnastics' curriculum. Planning and scheduling of classes, workshops and events.
Providing leadership to the coaching team, ensuring a culture of collaboration.
Customer Satisfaction by monitoring emails, surveys and reviews and dealing with any issues in a timely manner.
Optimizing the program occupancy by identifying opportunities to grow and engage.
Team collaboration with other departments, duty captains, customer experience officers and other gymnastics team members.
Health and safety of all staff and customers by complying with all relevant policies and procedures.
Desired Skills and Experience
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
Experience in Gymnastics leadership
Suitably qualified as an Advanced Coach
Hold the relevant Gymnastics Victoria/Australia registrations
