Job Description

About the Role
As an Casey ARC Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in growing our membership and swim school programs by managing lead generation, nurturing prospects, and delivering a seamless onboarding experience. You will be part of a team that is passionate about connecting people with services that improve their health, wellbeing, and sense of community.

This role blends sales performance with outstanding customer service, offering you the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our members while helping our organisation grow

 

Key Responsibilities

Sales Acquisition & Member Retention

  • Proactively conduct outbound sales calls to prospective members and swim school families.

  • Manage and maintain accurate records of all sales enquiries and interactions.

  • Identify and follow up with at-risk members to support retention and reduce cancellations.

  • Use a needs-based sales approach to match customer goals with the right services.

  • Identify and action upsell and cross-sell opportunities (e.g. personal training).

  • Re-engage previous members and non-renewals with personalised follow-up.

  • Handle membership concerns professionally and empathetically.

  • Participate in local outreach initiatives to grow community engagement.

  • Support the management of financially supported memberships.

  • Model and uphold best-practice sales standards within the team.

Frontline Sales & Customer Support

  • Be the first point of contact for membership, swim school, and program enquiries.

  • Deliver tailored, customer-focused solutions to drive satisfaction and sales.

  • Complete all relevant administrative tasks to support smooth sales operations, including member account management, tracking, and reporting.

  • Conduct engaging facility tours aimed at converting interest into sign-ups.

  • Assist with initiatives to improve the financial health of our membership base, including invoicing, account oversight, and debt recovery.

  • Lead the management of the Supported Access Program, helping applicants transition to active members.

  • Provide a welcoming presence at reception and sales areas during all shifts.

Exceptional Customer & Sales Experience

  • Balance a strong sales focus with a commitment to outstanding customer service.

  • Continuously look for ways to improve the customer journey and drive results.

  • Support and guide colleagues on shift to build team capability and confidence.

  • Provide clear, guided support when handling complex membership queries.

Desired Skills and Experience

Essential Qualifications and Experience:       

  • A passion for customer service and sales

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A proactive and organised approach to managing leads and data

  • Confidence in engaging with a wide range of people through phone, email, and face-to-face communication

  • Availability to work a flexible roster including some evenings and weekends

  • 2 years experience in delivering exceptional customer service

  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate

  • Working with Children’s Check
