We are seeking dedicated and experienced Swim Teachers who hold an Access and Inclusion licence to join our team in Nillumbik. As part of our Aquatics department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons to individuals with diverse abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct swimming lessons tailored to meet the needs of individuals with diverse abilities, ensuring an inclusive and supportive environment.
- Implement appropriate teaching strategies and techniques to accommodate different learning styles and ensure all participants are engaged and making progress.
- Assess participants' abilities and provide constructive feedback to support their development, confidence, and independence in the water.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a safe, enjoyable, and enriching aquatic experience for all participants.
- Maintain accurate records of participant progress and communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding achievements, challenges, and any necessary adaptations.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, emergency procedures, and risk management protocols during swimming lessons.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety + must hold an Access and Inclusion qualification/licence
