Job Description

We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Swim Teachers with at least one year of teaching experience and who hold Infant Qualifications to join our team. 

As a Swim Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to infants, ensuring their safety and promoting a positive learning environment.  Your main tasks will include:

  • Planning and conducting swimming lessons for infants in accordance with the established curriculum
  • Providing individualised attention to each child, focusing on their specific needs and abilities
  • Ensuring a safe and secure aquatic environment for all participants and communicating with parents/guardians in the water
  • Evaluating the progress of each child and providing constructive feedback to parents/guardians
  • Maintaining accurate records of attendance, skill development, and any incidents or accidents
  • Assisting with the set-up and pack-down of equipment as required

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for teaching and working with children, and hold relevant qualifications including an Infant Teaching licence.  A current CPR certificate and Working with Children Check are essential requirements for this role. Desired Skills and Experience

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

1. Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety + Infant Qualifications with a minimum of 1 year teaching experience
2. CPR
3. WWCC
