Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE: 
This Coordinator will ensure the efficient administration of people, compliance and contract functions for Aligned Leisure in Eurobodalla. They will ensure adherence to legislation, contracts and policy, working collaboratively with all stakeholders. They will oversee all people systems, especially recruitment, onboarding, rostering, time, attendance, payroll and qualifications. They will monitor and report on Aligned Leisure’s contract compliance and business plan progress. The Coordinator will work across all departments and locations in Eurobodalla.  The Coordinator will work relentlessly to deliver on the Aligned Leisure purpose of CONNECTING TO THRIVE AND WIN. They will ensure the entire team work within our values, behaviours and service standards model. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
1. Culture Development 
• Support the Manager in the Aligned Leisure High Performance People Framework implementation, including our purpose, values, behaviours, and service standards.  
• Lead the local reward and recognition programs. 
• Maintain the staff communication systems and processes. 
• Oversee the regular engagement survey process, communication and responses. 
• Regular engagement with Richmond Football Club Human Resources team. 


2. Human Resource Management 
• Manage all administration requirements related to people. 
• Ensure all people documentation complies with laws, regulations, contracts and policies. 
• Coordinate all recruitment and induction programs. 
• Coordinate the performance management, talent identification and development processes 
• Coordinate the staff rostering, time, attendance and payroll system, including the education of the staff team. 
• Coordinate the employee wellbeing program. 
• Communicate upcoming people milestones to appropriate staff to ensure that they can self manage compliance, training and qualifications; and to recognise and reward anniversaries.  
• Maintain an up to date qualification and training register. 
• Coordinate all traineeships or placements in line with the approved strategy. 
• Reporting as required. 


3. Administration of contract compliance  
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Aligned Leisure’s contract obligations within the Eurobodalla Shire.  
• Support the documentation of all contract compliance milestones across all teams. 
• Maintain accurate records of contract correspondence between Aligned Leisure and Eurobodalla Shire Council. 
• Coordinate the monthly reporting requirements of Aligned Leisure within Eurobodalla for various stakeholders. 


4. Administrative support to Eurobodalla Leisure Manager 
• Provide administrative support to the Eurobodalla Manager.


5. Member of the Eurobodalla Aquatics Facilities Leadership Team 
• Role model the values, behaviours and service standards, instil this model throughout the organisation and ensure that all new staff understand this expectation. 
• At all times, act in the best interests of Aligned Leisure, Eurobodalla Shire Council.  


6. Outstanding service delivery to all customers and stakeholders 
• Aligned Leisure will be renowned for delivering outstanding service and providing memorable experiences for our customers. The Manager will be relentless in identifying opportunities to provide exceptional service and will continuously ask themselves,“How would I want a member of my family to be treated in this situation?” 
• Lead and deliver on our customer charter and service standards. 


The People & Compliance Coordinator may be required to undertake other tasks as directed by the 
Eurobodalla Arts & Leisure Manager. This position will also undertake regular Duty Captain shifts and must 
be regularly visible across all facilities. 

Desired Skills and Experience

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:  
• 2-3 years’ experience and qualifications in business, finance or human resources 
• The role requires very high levels of organisation and attention to detail
