Aligned Leisure is a 100% owned subsidiary of the Richmond Football Club, established as a vehicle to manage the operations of Richmond’s health, fitness and leisure business activities. Supported by the people and business systems of the Richmond Football Club, Aligned Leisure currently operates 53 leisure centres, community stadiums, pools, gyms, skate parks, gymnastics programs, theatres and other facilities throughout Victoria and New South Wales.

Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Community Development Officer is integral to fostering equity and inclusiveness within Mildura Rural City Council and the broader community, ensuring that all individuals, regardless of background or ability, can fully participate and thrive. This role encompasses diverse
responsibilities, including the development and delivery of inclusive programs within Council facilities and the broader community.

The Community Development Officer identifies and addresses participation barriers, measures theimpact of services, and cultivates partnerships with Council teams and community organisations.  Collaborating closely with stakeholders, the Community Development Officer will work to align
initiatives with strategic objectives, driving progress towards a more inclusive and vibrant community. Through these efforts, this role plays a vital role in promoting diversity, fostering a sense of belonging, and advancing our purpose of connecting to thrive and win.

The ultimate goal of this position is to deliver improved health and well-being outcomes for the residents of the Mildura Rural City Council and influence continuous improvement in programs and services, analysing the impact of our delivery and targeting non-users and specified target groups to Mildura Waves.

 

NOTE:- This is a permanent part-time role with the potential for full time hours across the facility for the right candidate.
