Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an outstanding educator to join our team. The Education Coordinator (RISL) is responsible for the coordination and delivery of structured, relevant, and engaging training and education programs that support students to achieve their training goals, as well as meeting associated compliance requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Program Coordination
•Review and implement Training & Assessment Strategies and related materials.
• Coordinate unit outlines, schedules, staffing, and communication with students and staff.
• Lead program evaluation and continuous improvement using feedback and data.
• Maintain professional currency through ongoing learning and development.
2. Program Development, Delivery and Assessment
• Deliver and oversee engaging, high-quality training and assessment.
• Provide academic leadership and support positive student learning experiences.
• Assess student work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Support students to complete courses in line with their Training Plans.
3. Program Compliance and Administration
• Lead moderation/validation and ensure program compliance with regulations.
• Manage course shells, student records, and assessment documentation in Swinburne LMS.
• Maintain accurate reporting of student engagement, attendance, and results.
• Identify and report compliance or conduct issues to the Head of Education & Training.
4. Student Experience, Growth and Improvement
• Support and enhance the overall student experience and satisfaction outcomes.
• Integrate Richmond Football Club / Aligned Leisure content into programs.
• Use data and feedback to drive course improvement and inform reporting.
• Build industry partnerships and support student recruitment and program promotion.
Desired Skills and Experience
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
• A relevant degree, diploma, or certificate level qualification with related experience; or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through other education, training, and/or experience, including current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
• More than three years’ experience in teaching or provision of training services, with related industry experience and/or currency to deliver the units of the program.
• Demonstrated experience working with young people and adults in a training environment, with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to develop positive organisational relationships at all levels.
• Developed leadership skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, and a passion for teaching, education, sport development, leadership and management.
• Highly motivated to create a fun, vibrant & UNITED culture, and RELENTLESS in delivery to drive exceptional outcomes.
• AWARE of industry trends and graduate requirements, with strong attention to detail and DISCIPLINE in compliance, processes, and procedures.
• Organised, meticulous, energetic, motivational, creative, and inspiring in approach.
• Proficient personal computing skills, including Learning Management Systems and Microsoft 365 products.
• A current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certification.
