ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Data Analytics Coordinator is responsible for transforming data into meaningful insights that support decision making across Richmond Football Club's membership, marketing, commercial and consumer functions. Through the development and maintenance of reporting solutions, dashboards and data models, this role helps stakeholders better understand performance, engagement and opportunities for growth.

Working closely with teams across the Club, the Data Analytics Coordinator will support the ongoing evolution of Richmond's reporting and analytics environment, maintaining trusted reporting solutions while contributing to data quality, governance and continuous improvement initiatives. The role also provides valuable support across customer engagement and CRM platforms, helping maximise the value of the Club's data assets.

As part of Richmond's continued investment in data and technology, the Data Analytics Coordinator will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the Club's analytics capability, supporting a data-informed culture and helping to deliver insights that enhance supporter, member and business outcomes.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:    
1.    Reporting & Dashboard Development - Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that provide meaningful insights across the Club.
2.    Data Analysis & Business Insights - Analyse consumer, membership, marketing and commercial data to identify trends, opportunities and actionable recommendations.
3.    Data Platform & Reporting Environment Support - Contribute to the ongoing development of the Club's data warehouse and reporting environment, supporting data quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
4.    Stakeholder Engagement & Capability Building - Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver reporting solutions, build data literacy and support informed decision making.
 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
1.    Tertiary qualifications in a business-related discipline.
2.    Approximately two years' experience in a data systems-related role.
3.    Demonstrated experience building reports and data models in Power BI.
4.    Strong SQL skills and experience working within a data warehouse environment.
5.    Exceptional planning, organisation and time management skills.
6.    Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
7.    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
